LOCATION - Lat 43°40'37", long 84°22'57" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.24, T.15 N., R.1 W., Midland County, MI, Hydrologic Unit 04080201, at Saginaw Road in Sanford.
DRAINAGE AREA - 995.5 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Water years 1984, 1992, 2008, 2010. April 15, 2021 to current year. 
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 589.012 ft above NAVD88. The NAVD88 datum was determined by a RTK GPS positioning by Spicer Group, INC. on Aug. 4, 2021, and levels of Aug. 5, 2021 by USGS.   
REMARKS - Regulation by dam upstream from station. Computed discharge considered poor April 15, 2021 to current. Site subject to backwater conditions from convergence of Salt River 600 ft downstream. 
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 8,900 ft³/s, Apr. 2, 2023, gage height, 24.33 ft.
