LOCATION - Lat 43°36'04", long 83°53'30" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.21, T.14 N., R.5 E., Bay County, MI, Hydrologic Unit 04080206, on left bank, inside the Pier Seven Marina, 0.4 mi downstream from the Veterans Memorial Bridge, 4.6 mi from the mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 6,210 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2014 to September 2017 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and acoustic velocity meter. Datum of gage is IGLD 85.
REMARKS - Minimum flows affected by wind direction and seiche on Saginaw Bay, 4.6 miles downstream.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 41,600 ft³/s, Apr. 8, 2017, gage height, 580.38 ft; maximum gage height, 583.65 ft, Apr. 6, 2017 (backwater from Saginaw Bay).
