LOCATION - Lat 40°41'09", long 84°15'56" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Allen County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 04100007, on the downstream side of County Road 230 bridge, 9 miles northwest of Wapakoneta. 
DRAINAGE AREA - 201 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2017 to current year.
GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is 799.58 ft (NAVD 1988).
REMARKS - Mar. 1, 2017 to Nov. 6, 2017: records fair, except for estimated periods which are poor.  Daily mean concentration and daily mean load records poor. All estimated periods of record are rated poor. All non-estimated periods are rated as follows: Nov. 6, 2017- April 23, 2018 rated poor.  April 23, 2018- August 16, 2018 rated fair. August 16, 2018- October 11, 2018 rated fair.  Oct. 12, 2018 to Sep. 30, 2019, discharge records rated fair.  Record quality ratings may not be included in the water-year summary for approved records newer than Sep. 30, 2019.  Record quality is still being rated internally.  For questions about record quality ratings, please send e-mail to gs-w-oh_NWISWeb_Data_Inquiries@usgs.gov.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
REMARKS - As part of the Western Lake Erie Basin project, water-quality sampling began in March 2017 and water-quality concentrations and loads began being computed in March 2017. Automatic samples are collected with an ISCO auto sampler that is housed in the gage house. Monthly and rainfall-runoff event cross sectional samples are collected at this station. Sampling includes: Suspended-sediment (80154), Nitrogen, ammonia as N (00608), Nitrogen, ammonia + organic nitrogen (total, whole water, also known as total Kjeldahl nitrogen (TKN); 00625), Nitrogen, nitrite + nitrate (filtered water; 00631), Phosphorus, phosphate, ortho (also know as dissolved reactive phosphorus (DRP) or soluble reactive phosphorus; 00671), and Phosphorus (total, whole water; 00665).
