LOCATION - Lat 46°29'56", long 96°44'20" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.20, T.135 N., R.48 W., Richland County, ND, Hydrologic Unit 09020104, on right bank on county highway, and 3.5 mi north of Abercrombie.
DRAINAGE AREA - Not determined.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 889.06 ft above NAVD88 (levels by USACE, April 2017).  Prior to conversion to NAVD88, datum of gage was published as 887.92 ft above NGVD29.

REGULATION.--Flow regulated by: Orwell Reservoir, flood storage capacity, 13,300 acre-ft at elevation 1,070 ft above mean sea level, adjustment of 1912; Mud Lake, flood storage capacity, 78,600 acre-ft at elevation 981 ft above mean sea level, adjustment of 1912; Lake Traverse, flood storage capacity, 75,100 acre-ft at elevation 981 ft above mean sea level, adjustment of 1912; and numerous other controlled lakes, ponds and several power plants.
