LOCATION - Lat 48°27'27", long 99°13'26" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.06, T.157 N., R.66 W., Towner County, ND, Hydrologic Unit 09020201, at bridge 2.1 mi southwest of Cando.
DRAINAGE AREA - 60.2 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Daily discharge data from March 1, 2021 to March 30, 2021 was added.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DAILY DISCHARGE--1955-73 (annual maximum discharges only), 1986-88 (discharge measurements only), March 1989 to current year (seasonal records only).

PERIOD OF RECORD.--DAILY GAGE HEIGHT--March 1999 to current year (seasonal records only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,461 ft above NAVD88, from topographic map. In October 2019, datum was converted to NAVD88 datum using the National Geodetic Surveys VDATUM transformation tool. Prior to conversion to NAVD88 datum was published as 1,460 ft. above NGVD of 1929 from topographic map.
REMARKS -  Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records fair except for the 2019 and 2021 water years, when record was good.  Estimated discharges are poor, unless otherwise noted.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum peak flow, 2,300 ft³/s, April 14, 1969, peak stage, 9.35 ft, datum then in use; maximum peak stage, 11.18 ft, April 14, 2011.
