LOCATION - Lat 48°20'12", long 98°39'36" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.18, T.156 N., R.62 W., Ramsey County, ND, Hydrologic Unit 09020201, about 13 mi. upstream from Sweetwater Lake, 10 mi. west and 5 mi. south of Edmore.
DRAINAGE AREA - 382 mi² of which 100 mi² probably is noncontributing.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1728: Drainage area.
PERIOD OF RECORD - DAILY DISCHARGE--April to June 1956, July 1957 to current year (seasonal records only 1982-93 and 1995 to current year).

PERIOD OF RECORD.--DAILY GAGE HEIGHT--March 2001 to current year (seasonal records only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder.  Datum of gage is 1401.25 ft above NAVD88.   Datum was converted to NAVD88 datum using the National Geodetic Surveys VDATUM transformation tool. Prior to conversion to NAVD88  datum was published as 1,400.00 ft above NGVD29.

Previous locations and datums;

June 26, 1957, to September 30, 1985, water-stage recorder at same site at datum of 1,479.79 ft above NGVD29. 

April 1956 to June 26, 1957, non-recording gage at same site at datum of 1,479.79 ft above NGVD29.

REMARKS - Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records fair except for the 2019 water year, when record was good.  Estimated discharges are poor, unless otherwise noted.
