LOCATION - Lat 46°36'11", long 97°01'56" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.12, T.136 N., R.51 W., Richland County, ND, Hydrologic Unit 09020204, on county highway, 1.8 miles south of Kindred.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2009 to March 2019 (seasonal gage height and maximum discharge only), March to May 2019 (gage heights and discharge), May 2019 to current year (seasonal gage height and maximum discharge only) .
GAGE -

Water stage recorder. Datum of the gage is 901.04 feet above North American Vertical Datum 1988 (NAVD88) and 900.00 feet above National Geodetic Vertical Datum 1929 (NGVD29). Prior to October 1st, 2022, data were published in elevation in NGVD29.

REMARKS - Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except for estimated discharges, which are poor, unless otherwise noted. 

REGULATION - Flow regulated by Lake Ashtabula 202 miles upstream (see station 05057500). Small diversions above station for municipal supply. Miscellaneous discharge measurements were made during the water year.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum peak flow, 9,300 ft³/s, April 24, 2011, maximum peak stage, 957.12 ft; minimum daily stage, 934.49 ft, April 30, 2015.
