LOCATION - Lat 46°53'28", long 96°54'59" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.06, T.139 N., R.49 W., Cass County, ND, Hydrologic Unit 09020204, on right bank, 50 ft upstream from 12th Ave N bridge in West Fargo, and 0.5 mi upstream from confluence with the Sheyenne River.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DAILY DISCHARGE--October 1992 to current year.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--DAILY GAGE HEIGHT--October 2000 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 877.72 ft above North American Vertical Datum 1988 (NAVD88, Survey by USGS) and 876.78 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum 1929 (NGVD29).

Previous locations and datums are as follows:

October 1, 1996, to September 30, 1999, datum was incorrectly reported as 863.22 ft above NGVD29 instead of the correct datum of 876.78 ft above NGVD29. 

October 1, 1992 to September 30, 1996, datum was 870.00 ft above NGVD29.

REMARKS -

These records are for the flood flows that are diverted around West Fargo.

 Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except for the 2019 water year, when record was fair.  Estimated discharges are poor, unless otherwise noted.
