LOCATION - Lat 47°19'30", long 97°47'25" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.04, T.144 N., R.56 W., Steele County, ND, Hydrologic Unit 09020205, 100 ft downstream from box culvert on State Highway 38, 500 ft east of the intersection of State Highways 32 and 38, and 3 mi west of Hope.
DRAINAGE AREA - 20.2 mi² of which 2.80 mi² probably is noncontributing.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DAILY DISCHARGE--October 1964 to current year (seasonal records only since 1983).

DAILY GAGE HEIGHT--March 2000 to current year (seasonal records only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1297.75 ft above North American Vertical Datum 1988 (NAVD88, Survey by USGS) and 1,296.62 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum 1929 (NGVD29, USC and USGS RM A442).
REMARKS -
Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except for the 2022 and 2023 water years, when records were fair and the 2020 WY, when record was rated poor.  Estimated discharges are poor, unless otherwise noted.
