LOCATION - Lat 44°27'30.9", long 93°09'34.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.01, T.111 N., R.20 W., Rice County, MN, Hydrologic Unit 07040002, on right bank 50 feet downstream from 2nd Street bridge over Cannon River in Northfield. Stages are set to NAVD88 datum. Prior to Nov. 1, 2012 crest-stage gage located 0.3 miles upstream at 5th Street bridge. Stages at old gage at NGVD29 datum. Peak discharges at this location are considered equivalent at current 2nd St. bridge location.
DRAINAGE AREA - 929 mi².
