LOCATION - Lat 46°03'41", long 89°38'50" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.5, T.41 N., R.7 E., Vilas County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07050002, at County Highway M, 3.6 mi south of Boulder Junction.   
DRAINAGE AREA - 7.96 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1991 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest stage gage. Datum of gage is 1606.72 ft NAVD 88.
REMARKS - Starting October 06, 2022, discharge records are poor due to culvert replacement and variable backwater. Prior to that, records are considered good except for estimated daily discharges which are poor and other periods as noted. For records status prior to October 1, 2013, see remarks printed in annual water-data reports. There is a small dam 2.5 miles upstream of the gage which occasionally affects discharge.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS

INSTRUMENTATION - An FTS temperature probe. Prior to 11/16/2016, a type T thermocouple measured water temperature at the orifice tip. Water temperature is recorded by a CR1000 data-logger.
