LOCATION - Lat 46°04'43", long 89°40'02" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.31, T.42 N., R.7 E., Vilas County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07050002, at inlet to Trout Lake, 2.6 mi southwest of Boulder Junction.
DRAINAGE AREA - 3.58 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD - Measurement only, October 1991 to September 1993. Continuous record, October 1994 to current year.
GAGE - Water stage recorder and crest stage gage. Telemetery is by Raven cellular modem. Datum of gage is 1,620 ft above NAVD88.
REMARKS - Records are considered good except for estimated daily discharges which are poor and other periods as noted. For records status prior to October 1, 2013, see remarks printed in annual water-data reports. Period of record statistics began in 2004 due to incomplete and poor record prior to that.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2012 to September 2015
INSTRUMENTATION - A thermocouple-type temperature probe is integrated with the CR-1000 data-logger. The temperature probe is located near the orifice at center of channel.
REMARKS - Water temperature data exists outside the period of record, but to date, that record has not been checked for accuracy and is not published.
