LOCATION - Lat 45°03'11", long 91°42'43" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.22, T.30 N., R.11 W., Dunn County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07050007,
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,090 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1914 to September 1980, October 1989 to September 1990. Monthly discharges only for January through March 1914, published in WSP1308. September 2013 to October 2014.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest stage gage. Datum of gage is 931.77ft above NAVD88. March 19, 1914 non-recording chain gage was installed at different site and datum. Sept. 1925 recorder installed. Sept. 1937 gaging station was moved to a new site and new datum a mile upstream from prior. Site discontinued Sept. 30, 1961. Re-established Oct.1, 1961 for partial records only. Sept. 22, 1989 the site was re-established at the current location with new datum and again discontinued Oct. 9, 1990. Sept.24, 2013 to current year, water-stage recorder and crest stage gage at present site and datum.
REMARKS - Records are considered good except for estimated discharges which are poor and other periods as noted. For records status prior to October 1, 2013, see remarks printed in annual water-data reports. Flow is regulated by many dams and reservoirs upstream not used for power generation.
