LOCATION - Lat 44°00'02", long 90°40'52" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.25, T.18 N., R.3 W., Monroe County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07040006, upstream side of Yard Rd. stream crossing.
DRAINAGE AREA - 5.10 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 2008 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and Crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 870 ft, above NGVD of 1988, from topographic map.
REMARKS -

INSTRUMENTATION - Tipping bucket rain gage with electronic datalogger.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily rainfall, 3.47 in., June 15, 2015.
EXTREMES FOR CURRENT YEAR - Maximum daily rainfall, 2.31 in., 7/20/2017.
REMARKS - Rainfall estimated to be 0.00 for Dec. 20 and 22, Jan.31, Feb. 6, 7, 10, 26, 27, Mar. 2, 4 and 15 because recorded precipitation was interpreted as collector snowmelt. Snowmelt tips were removed from the record.Values are considered estimated for Jan. 18-19 because precipitation was interpreted as combination of rainfall and collector snowmelt. Snowmelt was determined by comparison to NWS weather records from Black River Falls, WI and 434425090462401 Discovery Farms-Jersey Waterway 6 at Cashton, WI. September 18-20 are also estimated due to a partial clog. Unit values for this portion of the record were estimated from 434425090462401 Discovery Farms-Jersey Waterway 6 at Cashton, WI.

REMARKS - Water Temperature records are good. Suspended solids records are fair, except those corresponding to estimated daily discharges with are fair to poor. Supended solids concentration analyses by the Water and Environmental Analysis Lab, UW-Stevens Point. Samples are a combination of point samples and manual samples.
