LOCATION - Lat 45°14'09", long 89°38'59" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.20, T.32 N., R.7 E., Lincoln County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07070002, on left bank 40 ft upstream from bridge on County Trunk Highway C, 1.5 mi upstream from Meadow Creek, 4.5 mi northeast of Merrill, and 8.0 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 184 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1308: 1915-17(M), 1919-21(M), 1923-31(M), 1942-43(M), 1945(M), 1948-50(M). WDR WI-77-1: Drainage area. WDR WI-79-1: 1972.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1914 to September 1931, August 1939 to current year. Monthly discharge for some periods published in WSP 1308.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 1,297.43 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to Oct. 9, 1968, nonrecording gage 40 ft downstream at same datum.
REMARKS - Records are considered good except for estimated daily discharges which are poor and other periods as noted.
