LOCATION - Lat 44°01'34", long 90°04'18" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.18, T.18 N., R.4 E., Juneau County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07070003, at right downstream corner of Necedah Dam, in Necedah, 5 miles downstream from Cranberry Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 491 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1940 to September 1957, May 2010 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 882.15 ft, NAVD of 1988. Oct, 1940 to Sep. 1957 non-recording gage 0.1 mi north and at datum 0.07 ft higher.
REMARKS -

Records are considered good except for estimated discharges which are poor and other periods as noted. For records status prior to October 1, 2013, see remarks printed in annual water-data reports. Flow regulated by dam immediately upstream of gage. Gage-height telemeter at station.

The period 10/05/22 to 10/03/2023 is considered fair due to uncertainty from a poor gage height at high stages and flow going into an overflow channel at low stages. Estimated record is considered poor.
