LOCATION - Lat 41°34'25.8", long 90°24'20.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.8, T.78 N., R.5 E., Scott County, IA, Hydrologic Unit 07080101, in Pleasant Valley Iowa.  The monitoring station is located near the visitor parking lot of the Army Corps. of Engineers Lock 14 visitor boat ramp, off of SE 182nd St. The gage house is located on the board walk 350 feet upstream from the parking lot, approximately 75 feet downstream from the DS auxiliary lock gate.
DRAINAGE AREA - 88,400 mi².
