LOCATION - Lat 43°11'32.0", long 89°28'22.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.6, T.8 N., R.9 E., Dane County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07090002, 0.5 miles west of the HWY 19 and county road Q intersection in Waunakee, WI.
DRAINAGE AREA - 24.8 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2012 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 911.98 ft. above NAVD of 1988, from GNSS.

INSTRUMENTATION - Tipping bucket rain gage with electronic datalogger.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily rainfall, 2.32 in., Apr. 13, 2014.
REMARKS - Data are recorded to the nearest 5 or 15 minutes in the datalogger, depending upon flow conditions at the site. WY2012 Remarks: Records are good. All unit values and daily values are stored in ADAPS. WY2013: Rainfall estimated to be 0.00 on Dec. 10, 12-14, Jan. 3, Feb. 7-8, 14, 18, 22-24, Mar. 6, 14, and 18 because recorded precipitation was interpreted as collector snowmelt. Collector snowmelt was removed from the record. Daily values are marked as estimated on Jan. 26 and Mar. 9 because recorded precipitation was interpreted as a combination of rainfall and some collector snowmelt. Remarks.—Records are poor due to episodic clogging of drainage towers interfering with the tipping bucket system. Periods of high rainfall intensity and/or rainfall amounts may be biased low. All unit values and daily values are stored in ADAPS.
