CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Tipping bucket rain gage June 26, 2019 to present.
INSTRUMENTATION - A TR-525USW Tipping Bucket Rain Gage (8.00” funnel diameter) is used with a Campbell Scientific CR10 datalogger to record rainfall in increments of ~0.01 inches. The rain gage is mounted on the top of the shelter, approximately 15 feet above ground. The record starts 6/27/2019. Data are retrieved via a cellular modem. The rain gage is not heated, and is not covered in the winter, therefore snowfall that melts in the funnel is interpreted as snowmelt and is removed from the record.
REMARKS - Remarks.--Records are good except for estimated days, which are fair. For the 2019 water year, record considered fair from 6/27/19-9/5/19 due to periods of estimation and the level adjustment made during the calibration site visit on 8/12. Record considered good from 9/6/19-10/9/19.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 1976 to current year.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - SUSPENDED-SEDIMENT DISCHARGE: Oct. 1991 to current year; CHLORIDE DISCHARGE: Feb. 2014 to current year; TOTAL PHOSPHORUS DISCHARGE: Jun. 2015 to current year; TOTAL KJELDAHL NITROGEN DISCHARGE: Jun. 2015 to current year; SUSPENDED SOLIDS DISCHARGE: Jun. 2015 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality autosampler since Feb. 1976.
REMARKS - Records good. Samples are point samples unless otherwise indicated. Daily loads and concentrations generated using GCLAS (Graphical Constituent Loading Analysis System) using linear interpolation between sample concentrations. For WY2013 and prior, a log-linear interpolation was used.
