LOCATION - Lat 42°32'15.25", long 92°26'36.57" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.12, T.89 N., R.14 W., Black Hawk County, IA, Hydrologic Unit 07080205, on right bank on downstream side of bridge on State Highway 57 in Cedar Falls, 1.0 mi upstream from Dry Run, and 170.5 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4,734 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR US-2008: Datum.
Revisions: Gage datum was updated to 762.48 ft NAVD88 on July 12, 2022, as determined by a GNSS Level II survey. Gage datum was previously published as 763.00 ft NGVD29 from levels.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Stage-only records from October 1999 to February 2013; discharge records from March 2013 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 762.48 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to July 13, 2012, daily gage height values of <83.10 ft indicate stage was at or below this minimum detection stage.
