- Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 42°18'14", long 95°02'29" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.33, T.87 N., R.36 W., Sac County, IA, Hydrologic Unit 07100006, on south shore across from swimming beach in Lake View, and 2.0 mi upstream from lake outlet.
DRAINAGE AREA - 23.3 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Stage-only records from April 1970 to September 1975, April 1978 to September 1992, October 1994 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,213.86 ft. above NAVD of 1988 and 7.00 ft below crest of spillway of dam at outlet. Prior to June 25, 1970, non-recording gage at lake outlet. Prior to January 22, 2001, at datum 5.0 ft higher.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records is discussed in the annual Station Analysis archived at the USGS IA Water Science Center. Lake is formed by concrete dam with ungated overflow spillway at elevation 1,220.50 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Lake is used for conservation and recreation. Area of lake is approximately 957 acres.
