LOCATION - Lat 39°34'26.6", long 91°34'20.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.4, T.55 N., R.6 W., Ralls County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 07110007, on left bank at left downstream end of bridge on Highway A, 0.5 mi downstream from Clarence Cannon Dam, 5.0 mi northwest of Center, and at mile 53.1.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,350 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Oct 1979 to current year. Prior to Oct 1979, gage height records only by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 500.00 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to Oct 1979 nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records is discussed in the annual Station Analysis archived at the USGS MO Water Science Center.   Flow completely regulated by Mark Twain Lake, capacity of 1,860,000 ac-ft, 0.5 mi upstream since Sep 1979.
