LOCATION - Lat 41°16'17", long 86°28'00" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.36, T.33 N., R.1 W., Starke County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 07120001, on downstream left edge of bridge over river on C.R. 1200 E , 1.1 mile south of Hwy 8, 8.1 mile east of Hwy 35 and Hwy 8 intersections.

DRAINAGE AREA - 377 mi² of which 48.12 mi² probably is noncontributing.

REVISIONS HISTORY - Datum of gage erroneously published in the manuscript as 716.24 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 from May 2012 to September 2018.

REMARKS - 05516665 Yellow River nr Oak Grove, IN WATER-QUALITY RECORDS INSTRUMENTATION. 2-parameter water-quality monitor; temperature and optical turbidity. This site utilizes an electric data logger, GPS antenna, and telemetry to relay the data. REMARKS. For most years temperature data were rated fair. For most years turbidity record is rated fair.
