LOCATION - Lat 42°26'53", long 88°01'29" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.23, T.46 N., R.10 E., Lake County, IL, Hydrologic Unit 07120004, on left downstream side of Miller Road bridge, 2.5 miles north of Lindenhurst 1.6 miles upstream from Rasmussen Lake, and at mile 1.6.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4.69 mi².

REMARKS - Sewage treatment plant 2 miles upstream causes diurnal fluctuations during low-flow periods. Accuracy of records is discussed in the annual Station Analysis archived at the USGS IL Water Science Center.

SURFACE-WATER DISCHARGE AND STAGE: Maximum discharge, 351 ft³/s, June 19, 2009, from rating curve extended above 131 ft³/s, gage height, 17.08 ft; no flow, June 21, July 5, 17, 18, 2012.
SUSPENDED-SEDIMENT CONCENTRATIONS: Maximum daily, 5,620 mg/L, May 29, 2011; minimum daily, 2 mg/L, October 20, 2012.
