LOCATION - Lat 42°24'55", long 87°58'09" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.32, T.46 N., R.11 E., Lake County, IL, Hydrologic Unit 07120004, on right bank at upstream side of bridge on Hunt Club Road, about 0.5 mi southeast of Old Mill Creek, and at mile 2.9.
DRAINAGE AREA - 61 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR IL-77-1: 1962-76(M). WDR IL-91-2: 1990(P). WDR IL-92-2: 1990.
Revisions: Gage datum was updated to 668.14 ft NAVD88 on June 14, 2022, based on a GNSS Level II survey using GEOID18.

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - SURFACE-WATER DISCHARGE AND STAGE: Flood of March 31, 1960 reached a stage of 12.35 ft, present datum, from flood marks, discharge 778 ft³/s. A gage height of 13.73 ft, present datum, discharge unknown, occurred between October 1976 and September 1989, from mark on crest-stage gage.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - SURFACE-WATER DISCHARGE AND STAGE: Maximum discharge, 1,890 ft³/s, July 12, 2017, gage height 13.21 ft; minimum, no flow, Sept. 25, 2021; Oct. 2, 2021; several days June and July 2023.
