LOCATION - Lat 41°37'28", long 87°31'05" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.36, T.37 N., R.10 W., Lake County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 07120003, on left bank, 20 ft upstream of Hohman Avenue, 1,000 ft east of Indiana-Illinois State line, 0.57 mi downstream of U.S. Highway 41, and 0.7 mi north of St. Margaret's Hospital.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Discharge data from October 9, 2015 to August 30, 2018 were erroneously shown as published.  These data were removed on January 6, 2021 when the mistake was discovered.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1991 to October 2015 (discharge), October 2015 to August 2018 (gage heights only), August 2018 through September 30, 2020 (discharge).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 574.62 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to July 26, 2018, datum of gage was 575.00 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
REMARKS - There was an extended period of construction on the channel near this gage from late 2015 through August 2018.  The channel shape was substantially altered and there were sheet-piles obstructing natural flow while this construction occurred.
