LOCATION - Lat 41°41'24", long 88°09'59" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.14, T.37 N., R.9 E., Will County, IL, Hydrologic Unit 07120004, in center of upstream side of Plainfield-Naperville Road bridge, 8.2 mi south of Naperville, 1.6 mi downstream from the confluence of the East Branch Du Page River and the West Branch Du Page River, 1.0 mi downstream from Spring Brook, and at mile 26.1.
DRAINAGE AREA - 220 mi².

GAGE - Water-stage recorder, satellite telemeter, crest stage gage, and an unheated tipping bucket rain gage. Datum of gage is 610.00 ft. above NAVD of 1988. Prior to Oct. 1, 1977, gage datum was 618.97 ft. above NGVD of 1929. From Oct. 1, 1977 to Sept. 30, 2010, gage datum was 610.08 ft. above NGVD of 1929. Prior to water year 2011, published as "near Naperville".
