LOCATION - Lat 41°17'59.6", long 88°36'51.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.26, T.33 N., R.5 E., LaSalle County, IL, Hydrologic Unit 07120005, on concrete mooring dolphin in river at Seneca, 0.3 miles downstream from highway 170, 5.9 miles upstream from Marseilles Lock and Dam, 20 miles downstream from Kankakee River, and at mile 252.5.
DRAINAGE AREA - 8,215 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Gage datum was updated to 462.58 ft NAVD88 on May 30, 2023, based on GNSS Level II survey using GEOID18.
