LOCATION - Lat 40°15'17.15", long 89°07'45.94" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.20, T.21 N., R.1 E., DeWitt County, IL, Hydrologic Unit 07130009, on left upstream side of bridge on Waynesville Road, 0.5 mi downstream from Rock Creek, 0.7 mi north of Waynesville, and at mile 25.3.
DRAINAGE AREA - 227 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1175: 1948-49, WDR-US-2010: 1981(P), 1982(P), 1986(P), 1991(P), 1993(P), and 1994(P).

REMARKS - Diurnal fluctuations in stage/flow occur during medium- and low-flow periods due to well pumpage for City of Heyworth public water supply, 10 mi. upstream at US Highway 136. Accuracy of records is discussed in the annual Station Analysis archived at the USGS IL Water Science Center.
