LOCATION - Lat 47°52'59.10", long 112°36'43.14" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.34, T.25 N., R.8 W., Teton County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 10030205, on right bank at county road bridge, 1.1 mi downstream from South Fork, 7.6 mi southwest of Bynum Reservoir, 20 mi northwest of Choteau, and at river mile 194.7.
DRAINAGE AREA - 110 mi².  
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR MT-2013: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1947 to October 1954 (published as "near Farmington"), June 1998 to current year, seasonal records only.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,770 ft, referenced to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988. June 1947 to October 1954, water-stage recorder 300 ft downstream at different elevation.
REMARKS -
10-23-2017 to 11-29-2018: records are good, except June 18 to Nov. 29 records are fair, and estimated records are poor.
11-03-2016 to 10-22-2017: records are good, except estimated records are poor.

Negligible diversion for irrigation occurs upstream from station.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of June 8, 1964 reached a discharge of 54,600 ft³/s, from slope-area measurement of peak flow.
