LOCATION - Lat 49°25'22.32", long 110°02'56.87" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, UNSPECIFIED, Hydrologic Unit is unknown, fourth meridian, in Alberta, Hydrologic Unit 10050007, on left bank 2 mi upstream from Middle Creek Reservoir, 2 mi west of Saskatchewan boundary, 18 mi northwest of Govenlock, Saskatchewan, and at river mile 65.7.
DRAINAGE AREA - 118 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Water Data Report 1983: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1910 to April 1915, September 1949, and March 1963 to current season (seasonal records only). Data for September 1949 to current season are published in reports of the Department of the Environment, Canada. Prior to March 1982, site was published as "Middle Creek near Alberta boundary" and June 1910 to April 1915 as "at McKinnon's Ranch."
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 3,381.13 ft referenced to the Geodetic Survey of Canada datum. At different elevations prior to Mar. 1, 1951 (nonrecording gages) and Mar. 1 1951 to July 5, 1961, where water-stage recorder was located at site 0.3 mi downstream.
COOPERATION - This is one of a number of stations which are maintained jointly by Canada and the United States.
REMARKS - Minor diversions for irrigation occur upstream from station.
