LOCATION - Lat 45°15'16", long 109°41'57" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 sec.1, T.7 S., R.16 E., Stillwater County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 10070005, on left bank at Emerald Lake Campground, 1,000 ft upstream from Emerald Lake, 11.5 mi southwest of Roscoe, and at river mile 25.0.
DRAINAGE AREA - 66.8 mi².

GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 6,435 ft, referenced to National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. U.S. Geological Survey satellite telemeter is located at the station.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: October 1, 2010 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - A Met-One water temperature thermistor is attached to bridge pier in the vicinity of pressure transducer orifice. On Mar. 14, 2018 the Met-One was replaced with a Design Analysis H-377 water temperature thermistor. On May 25, 2022 the H-377 probe was replaced with a FTS Digitemp sensor S/N 114931. The water temperature sensor is interfaced to the Sutron Satlink3 Lite data collection platform.
