LOCATION - Lat 47°51'03", long 103°47'37" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.31, T.151 N., R.102 W., McKenzie County, ND, Hydrologic Unit 10100004, Little Missouri National Grassland on right bank, at county highway bridge, and 1.5 mi west of Charbonneau.
DRAINAGE AREA - 149 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DAILY DISCHARGE--October 1966 to September 1981, February 2006 to October 2014 (seasonal records only), discontinued.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--DAILY GAGE HEIGHT--June 2006 to October 2014 (seasonal records only), discontinued.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,990 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to February 1, 2006, 500 ft upstream at different datum.
REMARKS - 10/01/13-09/30/14: Records fair except those below 1.0 ft³/s and those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.

EXTREMES FOR WATER YEAR 2014.--Maximum peak flow, 101 ft³/s, May 29, peak stage, 4.56 ft. Maximum peak stage, 6.50 ft, March 9, backwater from ice.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum peak flow, 6,300 ft³/s, April 17, 1979, peak stage, 8.32 ft, site and datum then in use. Maximum peak stage, 11.77 ft, on or about March 20, 2009, from flood mark, backwater from ice.
