LOCATION - Lat 47°17'20", long 101°02'15" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.14, T.144 N., R.82 W., McLean County, ND, Hydrologic Unit 10130101, on left bank near municipal waterplant in Washburn and at mile 1,355.
DRAINAGE AREA - 184,000 mi². approximately.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1960 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,641.29 ft above NAVD88. In October 2019, datum was converted to NAVD88 datum using the National Geodetic Surveys VDATUM transformation tool. Prior to conversion to NAVD88 datum was published as 1640.00 ft above NGVD29 (levels by Corps of Engineers). Prior to September 30, 1964, gage datum was 1,600.00 above NGVD29. 
REMARKS - Stage regulated by releases from Garrison Dam (station 06338490) 35 mi upstream.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily gage height, 23.12 ft, June 27, 2011; minimum gage height, 6.96 ft, March 27, 2009.
