LOCATION - Lat 46°51'04", long 101°15'10" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.14, T.139 N., R.84 W., Morton County, ND, Hydrologic Unit 10130203, on right bank 40 ft downstream from bridge on county highway, 2 mi northeast of Judson, and 16 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 157 mi². approximately.

REGULATION.--Flow regulated by Sweetbriar Reservoir 2 mi upstream since April 1964.

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum stage known, 12.5 ft, April 17, 1950, from floodmark at present site, peak flow, 5,910 ft³/s from rating curve extended above 2,000 ft³/s on basis of contracted-opening measurement of peak flow.
