LOCATION - Lat 44°19'39.05", long 103°53'38.58" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.09, T.4 N., R.2 E., Lawrence County, SD, Hydrologic Unit 10120203, on left bank 200 ft upstream from mouth and about 6 mi southwest of Lead.
DRAINAGE AREA - 3.72 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR SD-10-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1988 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and V-notch weir. Datum of gage is 5,126.67 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - For Oct. 1, 2013 to Sept. 30, 2017, records good except those for Sept. 3 to Oct. 20, 2014 and Aug. 28 to Sept. 10, 2015 which are fair and those for June 10-24, 2015 and estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Satellite data-collection platform at station. Water temperature and specific conductance measured with each discharge measurement.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Minimum daily discharge, 0.00 ft³/s, Mar. 2, 1989, no flow at times in some years.
