LOCATION - Lat 44°32'30.38", long 103°34'17.46" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.25, T.7 N., R.4 E., Lawrence County, SD, Hydrologic Unit 10120202, on right bank 30 ft downstream from county highway bridge and 6.9 mi northeast of Whitewood.
DRAINAGE AREA - 77.3 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR SD-10-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1981 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 3,163.20 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88). Prior to Nov. 8, 2018, at datum 5.00 ft higher.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except for June 1 to July 21, 2015, Oct. 1, 2015 to Sept. 30, 2016, Nov 1, 2017 to June 23, 2018,  Apr. 4, 2020 to May 14, 2020 which are fair, and June 23 to Nov 8, 2018, and estimated discharges, which are poor, unless otherwise noted.  Small diversions upstream for irrigation of 256 acres.
