LOCATION - Lat 44°00'59", long 99°44'41" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.5, T.106 N., R.74 W., Lyman County, SD, Hydrologic Unit 10140104, on left bank 5 ft downstream from bridge, 9.0 mi SW of Lower Brule, and 10.1 mi upstream of Medicine Creek Bay.
DRAINAGE AREA - 614 mi² of which 8 mi² probably is noncontributing.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2014 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,464.63 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - For water years 2015 onward, records good except those for July 6, 2022 to Nov. 11, 2022, July 5, 2023 to Aug. 1, 2023, and Aug. 21, 2023 to Oct. 5, 2023, which are fair and those for estimated discharges, which are poor. Satellite data-collection platform at station.
