LOCATION - Lat 43°15'17.5", long 102°49'36.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.24, T.38 N., R.47 W., UNSPECIFIEDSD, Hydrologic Unit 10140201, on right bank at downstream side of bridge, 3.0 mi downstream from Blacktail Creek, and 7.0 mi northwest of Oglala.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,156 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR SD-10-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1943 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage of gage is 2,855.11 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88).  Prior to conversion to NAVD 88, datum of gage was 2,853.54 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to May 6, 1947, nonrecording gage at same site and datum 2,853.54 ft above NGVD of 1929.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except for Jul. 25 to Oct. 29, 2021,Aug. 5 to Aug. 22, 2022 and estimated discharges, which are poor, unless otherwise noted.
