LOCATION - Lat 46°13'31", long 98°04'17" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.28, T.132 N., R.59 W., Dickey County, ND, Hydrologic Unit 10160003, on right bank 80 ft downstream from bridge on ND Highway 13.
DRAINAGE AREA - 357 mi² of which 255 mi² probably is noncontributing.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - DAILY DISCHARGE--October 1976 to current year.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--DAILY GAGE HEIGHT--October 2000 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,292.38 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88). National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD29) datum was converted to NAVD88 datum using the National Geodetic Surveys VDATUM transformation tool in November, 2017. Prior to October 1, 2017, datum was published as 1,291.30 ft above NGVD29, determined from USC & GS benchmark stamped "TT16 RMC 1951" located 1 mile east and 1 mile north of gage, elevation 1,366.566 ft above NGVD29.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except for estimated discharges, which are poor, unless otherwise noted.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of July 1, 1975, reached a stage of 15.00 ft present datum, from floodmark, discharge 4,590 ft³/s.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum peak flow, 2,570 ft³/s, April 6, 2011, peak stage, 12.90 ft.
