LOCATION - Lat 43°24'56.3", long 97°12'17.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.10, T.99 N., R.54 W., Turner County, SD, Hydrologic Unit 10170102, on right bank 10 ft downstream from bridge, 3.7 mi northwest of Parker, and 13.9 mi upstream from confluence with East Fork Vermillion River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 378 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR SD-10-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1961 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 1,341 ft above NAVD88, from topographic map.  Prior to conversion to NAVD88, datum was published as 1,340 ft above NGVD29, from topographic map. Prior to Oct. 11, 1973, nonrecording gage and crest-stage gage at same site and datum 1,340 ft above NGVD29, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except for the period of Aug. 17, 2022 to Nov. 7, 2022 and May 24, 2023 to Nov. 14, 2023, which is fair and for periods of estimated discharges, which are poor. Satellite data-collection platform at station. 
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Minimum daily discharge, 0.00 ft³/s, Oct. 6, 1961, no flow for many days in some years.
