LOCATION - Lat 44°28'03.2", long 96°53'13.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.36, T.112 N., R.51 W., Brookings County, SD, Hydrologic Unit 10170202, on right bank at downstream end of county highway bridge, 7.4 mi downstream from confluence with Peg Munky Run, 4.9 mi east-northeast of Oakwood Lakes State Park, and 1.8 mi north of Bruce.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2,396 mi² of which 847 mi² probably is noncontributing.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR SD-10-1: Drainage area.

Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage.  Datum of gage is 1,611.96 feet above the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) and 1,620 feet above the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD29), from topographic map.

REMARKS - Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records good except those for June 1, 2014 to July 15, 2014, Oct. 9, 2014 to Nov. 5, 2014, Apr. 1 - 8, 2018, Apr. 21, 2018 to May 4, 2018, and Mar. 19, 2021 to Sept. 8, 2021 which are fair and those for estimated discharges, which are poor.
