LOCATION - Lat 42°30'14", long 108°15'00" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.12, T.29 N., R.96 W., Fremont County, WY, Hydrologic Unit 10180006, on left bank 1.4 mi downstream from Alkali Creek and 4.4 mi southwest of Sweetwater station.
DRAINAGE AREA - 849 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1973 to September 1992, August 2014 to present.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 6,590 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. U.S. Geological Survey data collection platform with satellite telemetry at station.
REMARKS - Transbasin diversion by Continental Divide ditch diverts water from Little Sandy Creek to land along Lander Creek (tributary to Sweetwater River). A transbasin diversion diverts water from Sweetwater River into Pacific Creek (tributary to Big Sandy River in Green River basin).
