LOCATION - Lat 40°01'07.2", long 105°19'34.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.27, T.1 N., R.71 W., Boulder County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 10190005, on the left bank 40 ft upstream from private bridge, 0.3 mi upstream from State Highway 119 in Orodell and from the confluence with Boulder Creek, and 2.5 mi west of courthouse in Boulder.
DRAINAGE AREA - 24.2 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2011: Drainage area.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1947 to September 1953, April 1978 to September 1982 (annual maximum only), July 1983 to March 1995, April 2011 to current year (seasonal records only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 5,750 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Apr. 1, 1947 to Sept. 30, 1953, water-stage recorder at site 75 ft downstream and Apr. 1, 1978 to Sept. 1982, crest-stage gage at site 600 ft downstream, at different datums. July 26, 1983 to Mar. 31, 1995, at site 75 ft downstream, at different datum.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; no estimated daily discharges. Records good. Water year 2015; records good except for the period May 8 to Sept. 30, which is fair, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
