LOCATION - Lat 41°42'46", long 96°31'19" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.09, T.20 N., R.8 E., Dodge County, NE, Hydrologic Unit 10220004, near left bank on upstream side of bridge on county road, 2 mi southwest of Uehling and 8.8 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,015 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR NE-94-1: Drainage Area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1941 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry. Datum of gage is 1,209.15 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to March 19, 2014, datum of gage was 1,208.73 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. See WSP 1918 for history of changes prior to July 15, 1963. July 16, 1963 to March 27, 1989, near right bank on downstream side of bridge at present site and datum. March 28, 1989 to March 22, 1990, 250 ft upstream on left bank at same datum.

REMARKS - Accuracy of records for water years prior to 2014 are noted in the individual Annual Data Reports for those water years. For water years 2014 onward, records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor, unless otherwise noted.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of June 5, 1940, reached a stage of 20.6 ft, present datum, from floodmarks, discharge, 22,200 ft³/s.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum peak flow, 25,200 ft³/s, February 20, 1971, gage height, 20.15 ft, from floodmark, backwater from ice. Maximum peak stage, 21.24 ft, March 15, 2019.
