LOCATION - Lat 39°33'37.04", long 99°17'08.06" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.01, T.6 S., R.18 W., Rooks County, KS, Hydrologic Unit 10260011, on left bank at downstream side of bridge on U.S. Highway 183, 8.5 mi north of Stockton.
DRAINAGE AREA - 341 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1950 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1802.474 ft above sea level NAVD 88.
REMARKS - Natural flow affected by ground-water withdrawals, diversions for irrigation, and return flow from irrigated areas. Satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD -

Maximum discharge, 12,900 cfs July 12, 1951, gage height, 13.60 ft, from rating curve extended above 5,900 cfs.

Maximum gage height is 14.29 ft.; discharge 8,510 cfs from June 19, 2010.
