LOCATION - Lat 38°56'18", long 94°36'28" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.10, T.13 S., R.25 E., Johnson County, KS, Hydrologic Unit 10300101, on right downstream side of bridge on State Line Road in Leawood and at mile 3.4.
DRAINAGE AREA - 64.17 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Added the csg peak of 17.37ft to the gage height time-series on November 4, 2022. Edit made on December 12, 2023.

INSTRUMENTATION - WATER QUALITY MONITOR: A Xylem EXO2 QW monitor was installed in December 2018 to measure water temperature, conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity. The monitor was in a 6" steel pipe, which is attached to the south bridge pier with a bracket screwed into the concrete. The water-quality monitor was removed on February 3, 2020.
REMARKS - Interruptions in record are due to ice conditions, malfunction of the recording instrument or sensors, or during days of no streamflow. Instruments used to measure turbidity conform to ISO 7027 standards and were made using Yellow Springs Instrument (YSI) 6136 sensor or YSI EXO sensor.
