LOCATION - Lat 40°17'50.0", long 94°01'34.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.34, T.64 N., R.28 W., Harrison County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 10280101, on right downstream side of bridge on old U.S. Highway 69, 2 miles north of Bethany and 4 miles upstream from confluence with West Fork.
DRAINAGE AREA - 95 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY -

Revisions: Gage datum was revised to 856.79 ft NAVD88 on June 14, 2022, as determined by a GNSS Level II survey. Gage datum was previously published in error July 1994, to June 2022, as 854.74 ft NGVD29 from levels. 

Gage-height data was revised from 08/11/2023 to 05/21/2024 due to an errant low-water correction being applied to the CB setting discovered during the 2024 levels.  Proration Comp tool used to determine when reference readings met revision threshold for approved data.  -BCW 10162024

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Apr 1934 to Sep 1972, Oct 1996 to Oct 1999, Oct 2000 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 856.79 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to July 1994, at same site but datum 1.75 ft lower.
