LOCATION - Lat 38°42'33", long 95°50'17" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.34, T.15 E., R.14 E., Osage County, KS, Hydrologic Unit 10290101, on left downstream end of U.S. Highway 56 bridge 3 mi south of Burlingame.
DRAINAGE AREA - 114 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR KS-82-1: 1982-2007 (M).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1960 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,016.06 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to June 8, 1960, nonrecording gage at bridge 180 ft upstream at present datum. Prior to Aug. 28, 2008, gage at site 1,100 ft downstream at present datum.
REMARKS - Satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum stage known since at least 1900, 23.4 ft, June 26, 1946, from information by local residents.
