LOCATION - Lat 38°23'30.2", long 90°38'16.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.12, T.42 N., R.3 E., Jefferson County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 07140104, on right bank 200 ft below dam on downstream side of pier of privately owned bridge at Byrnesville, 4.0 mi upstream from Heads Creek, and at mile 14.1.
DRAINAGE AREA - 917 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 667: 1927. WSP 877: 1938. WSP 1007: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Oct 1921 to current year. Prior to Jun 1922 monthly discharge only, published WSP 1311.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 433.70 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to Mar 9, 1940, nonrecording gage at present site and datum.

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of Aug 21, 1915, reached a stage of 30.2 ft from floodmarks, discharge, 80,000 ft³/s, by slope-area measurement of peak flow.
